Complex, luscious and rich in umami
“Oishi” means delicious in Japanese, which tells everything about this tsuyu. Tsuyu is a Japanese liquid Aromat made from four core Japanese ingredients: soy sauce, mirin, dashi and sake. Add a few spoons to the dipping sauce, salad dressing and sauce. Mix with honey and glaze your stir-fries. Our favourite is marinading sashimi-grade salmon or avocado overnight and serving as poke. Recipes are on the label.
Vegan dashi (Japanese base stock), non-GMO soy sauce, sake, mirim, daikon, Asian aromatics, shiitake mushrooms, organic sugar (allergens: soy, wheat, yeast, alcohol)
Why bother with measurements and keeping multiple ingredients if you can buy this perfectly balanced Oishi. It's a must for the Asian pantry
I recommend that you keep a stash hidden. If your family is anything like mine, Oishi sauce will be used on everything!
This sauce along with the Umami Soy Sauce are my pantry staples- they're just soo good and work with a variety of dishes. This sauce adds so much depth to dishes
This sauce is my secret weapon. It's just so delicious and is the perfect companion to meat. I love to rub Umami lemon salt pesto all over a steak and then glaze it with this. It is a marriage made in heaven. Another favourite way to use this sauce is to marinade avocado overnight and then serve it with sticky rice and a fried egg. Magic!

Absolutely delicious and so versatile. I've had this in black tea, with soda, with tonic water, over ice-cream and on yoghurt. It's just the right amount of zingy with a shot of sweetness.
The spring roll is the perfect quick, easy afternoon snack and teenagers can do it themselves. Tip: stock up, never any around when you want one
There's kimchi, bad kimchi, good kimchi and then out of this world kimchi. This is definitely on the out of this world level. We serve it the way it should be served, with everything 😉 Breakfast, lunch and dinner. With eggs, on toasted sandwiches, with grilled meats, on steamed rice and with whatever else we can have it with. This needs to come in bigger buckets
The nuttyness of the sesame is bold in this sauce. The garlic is flavourful without being bitter. A must on the side of seared fish.
My family love this with springrolls, steamed dumplings as well as potstickers. Beats any other dipping sauce on the matket
