Adult Birthday Party Cooking Class in Waterfall / Midrand Johannesburg

Celebrating birthday and bonding over good food is a great idea. But hosting a party at home can be daunting. It's easy to get caught up in the details and miss out on the fun, which is where we come in.

Our private cooking party is more than just stress-free celebration. The experience of bringing your friends and family, learning how to make your favourite iconic Asian dishes and working together to create a scrumptious feast is a bucket list item.

Planning a private event can be overwhelming, so let us help you. We have been doing this since 2017 with the most discerning private and corporate clients such as Estee Lauder, PWC, JP Morgan, RMB and Primedia and we have tips to share.

    Step 1: Book The Date

Contacting us early on is crucial, even if you don't have a confirmed date. We'll provide you with two options to share with your guests and confirm.

To secure your preferred date and time and ensure your guests can attend, we recommend planning your event at least 6 weeks in advance, ideally 3 months. Our classes are available on weekday mornings, weekday evenings, Saturday mornings and afternoons.

Keep in mind that some guests may not be able to confirm their schedules well in advance, which is the top reason private events are cancelled. Proceed with those who can join and keep others in the loop in case they're able to attend.

Step 2: Pick The Class & Menu

Now you need to select ONE class from our 20 classes. We typically propose 2 options after receiving the following information:

    1. Dietary requirements:
    • How many halal, vegan / vegetarian, pescatarian and no pork & beef eaters?
    • Any food allergies?
        1. Group's interests:
        • Improving everyday cooking skills (e.g., stir fry, Thai curries & satay)
        • Entertainment-style food (e.g., dumplings, sushi, Asian street food)

Our classes have specific dietary requirements, so providing us with accurate information will ensure a successful and enjoyable experience for all.

            Step 3: Add Personal Touch

            1. Drink Pairing: We will advise you on drink pairings for your chosen menu.
            2. Personalised Aprons: Make a great souvenir for the guests too.
            3. Personalised Recipes (No additional cost): Share your favourite photos to make the cover page.
            4. Birthday Celebration: Request us to set up a dessert bar for cake-cutting and bring your own cake.
            5. Music Playlist: Bring your own music playlist to set the perfect ambience.
            6. Gift Box (start from R 1000): Arrange a surprise gift for the birthday person from our unique range of products.
            7. Thank-You Gifts (start from R 300 pp): Show appreciation to your guests by providing our ever-popular cordials, as a perfect parting gift.
