Light, tender seaweed for miso soup and salads
Wakame is a nutrient-dense seaweed widely used in Japan and Korea. It has no distinctive flavour but a unique tenderness with a light crunch. Our wakame is cut into short flakes, perfect for miso soup or Japanese cucumber salad. Rehydrate wakame flakes for 30 minutes in cold water before use.
Tip: Don't overdo the portion you rehydrate: 1 - 2 pinches is all you need for one serving of miso soup.
