    What it is:
Introducing the Thai Lime Tree, an essential for chefs and home cooks. It's a slow-growing culinary treasure: we started cultivating our thai lime trees back in 2017 and now offer a limited quantity to our customers.

Its aromatic leaves and zest elevate Thai, Cambodian, and Indonesian dishes in no time. The leaves are the star ingredient, while the lime itself is rarely used due to its dryness and lack of juice. Kaffir lime leaves are incredibly versatile and can enhance the flavor of curries, soups, stir-fries, marinades, and even beverages.

    How to use in cooking:

    • Simply add 8-10 leaves to your broth or curry (or any liquid) and infuse by simmering on low to medium heat for 10-20 minutes. The leaves are not edible, so discard them after infusing.

    • Remove the center vein, then slice the leaves very thinly (about 1mm). Add them to your salad, drinks, or stir-fries for extra aroma.

    • Add 10 large leaves to a bottle of gin (or vodka) and infuse for 6 months for an out-of-this-world G&T!

Care Tips (same as lemon tree):

    • Full sun (min 6 hours daily)
    • Water every 2-4 days for 3-4 cups
    • Well-drained soil
    • Apply balanced fertiliser in spring, summer and autumn
