Gluten-free alternative for creating a light, crispy texture
Rice powder is made from finely milled white raw rice and is used to make the famous Vietnamese pancake Ban Xeo, bread, pastries and sweets. It gives a crunchy texture and is also used to thicken and bind as a gluten-free alternative.
Note: This product is not a replacement for glutinous rice flour, which gives a sticky, chewy texture and is used to make rice cake, mochi and rice porridge for kimchi seasoning.
