E. Goma Shio | Japanese Sesame Salt (Halal, Vegan)

Got this from Jackson’s. When they ran out, I searched and found out the supplier is around the corner from me. I had a flight to catch in 2 hrs. But managed to put the order online, collect and have a friendly visit in under an hour. The owner Ramy is such a darling. She even bubble wrapped the jars unprompted for me and she was so welcoming, friendly and efficient! She has earned a loyal customer.

Finally found salt replacement for hubby. Very delicious. Almost addictive

I think I am officially hooked on black gomashio. It makes all delicious things taste better - avo on toast, plain tomato pasta, chicken salad. I catch myself eating a spoonful of it every day!

As a topping, this is so great to use and I use it in almost everything!

As an alternative to salt, these seeds are absolutely heaven. As a salt addict, I highly rate them for a crunchy, more healthy alternative. Be aware though, they are without a doubt, addictive!

I love to use them in the salads and for my salmon! Gives nice flavour. 😋😋😋
