Chilly weather calls for comfort food. While in Vietnam, I fell in love with Vietnamese everyday comfort food: flavourful, hearty, yet LIGHT! It's pure goodness hugs you from the inside.

Join us to learn to make fragrant and aromatic chicken broth, and turn it into Pho Ga (noodle in soup), Com Ga (chicken rice) and Goi Ga (warm chicken salad) with stir-fried kong xin chai, the yummiest crunchy vegetable that you can't stop eating.

Course Contents

  1. Vietnamese chicken broth from scratch
  2. Pho Ga: Fragrant and aromatic chicken broth, served with rice noodles and tender chicken pieces.
  3. Com Ga: Chicken rice, served with juicy chicken, carrot & radish pickle and spring onion & ginger sauce
  4. Goi Ga: Vietnamese chicken salad, served warm, with an addictive dressing
  5. Stir-fried kong xin chai with garlic: the king of vegetable stir fry

    • Mandatory Ingredients (no substitutions): chicken, fish sauce, soy sauce, sesame, miso paste (contains wheat, gluten, soy)
    • Optional ingredients: crab, coriander
    • Halaal friendly. Relatively gluten-free: join if you can consume a tablespoon of soy sauce.
    • Duration: 4 hours / 50% demo + 50% hands-on
    • Class frequency: Winter class. 4 classes in 2022
    • Great for: Easy entertaining, everyday cooking, team building, private parties
