It is also for stir-fries, sauces, and marinades, instantly providing a great depth of flavour and aroma. In this class, we start with the most versatile and approachable ones, red and green, and make your all-time favourite using those pastes. Tips on meal planning and storage solutions will be also shared so you can have your first Thai feast entirely under control.

  • Mandatory ingredients (no substitutions): fish, prawn, chicken, coriander, coconut milk, soy sauce (contains yeast and wheat)
  • Optional ingredients: peanut
  • Relatively gluten-free: consume 1 Tbsp soy sauce/person 
  • Halaal option offered: Inform us when making the booking. Recipes from this class don't use cooking alcohol and we can switch to the halaal chicken.
  • Duration: 4 hours / 60% demonstration + 40% hands-on
  • Class frequency: Winter class. 4 classes in 2022

    Stunning space and kitchen, you feel right at home! Rany is a lovely hands on teacher that shows all her students authentic ways of preparing Asian food, the Thai curry class was no exception.

    You get to use all halaal proteins and authentic Thai ingredients, all her methods are explained in detail and everyone gets a chance to prepare dishes. Would definitely attend her other classes as you learn so much and she goes out of her way to transfer her skills onto you.

    I attended the halaal Thai class and I had a superb experience. Randy was so considerate to my halaal dietary requirements.

    She communicated on how the meat was sourced and had prepared a halaal stock.

    I reproduced the recipe the same evening and also inhaled the halaal dumplings. New skills in hand and yummy in my tummy!
