No more dumpling cravings! Learn how to make the juiciest and most flavorful lamb and chicken dumplings. These dumpling treats are a bit more challenging than pork dumplings as the mince is leaner and the filling tends to end up dry and tough.

Yet, Rany will teach you how to prevent this while you also learn to prepare, store, cook and serve the dumplings properly. This is sure to be your favourite homemade fast food and soon you’ll stock your freezer fully with dumplings.

    • Northern Chinese lamb filing
    • Korean kimchi chicken filling
    • Korean soy sauce vinaigrette 
  2. Making dumplings: Folding techniques, storage solutions
  3. Cooking & serving dumplings
    • Steamed dumplings
    • Wonton soup (boiled in Asian seafood stock)
    • Boiled dumplings + red oil sauce and coriander  
    • Potsticker dumplings with king prawn or asparagus topper

    • Mandatory Ingredients (no substitutions): lamb, chicken, soy sauce, sesame, wheat, fish sauce
    • Replaceable ingredients: prawn (optional), coriander, mushroom
    • No gluten-free option offered
    • Halaal option offered: inform us when making you book. By default, the class uses meat from a halal butcher and no alcohol in shared food.

      What an amazing experience! If you like to learn a new cooking skill (and this is easy) and learn new flavours, this is for you! Dumpling 101 class was super fun, interesting and Rany Jo, your passion for food is visible in your presentation, in your lovely kitchen and you can taste it! I was so inspired after the class that I made 60 dumplings over that weekend.

      Rany with engaging personality and artful, patient instruction, it’s hard to find the best part of my experience, but I couldn’t have walked away more satisfied with the food or the teacher. It is, by far, the most creative and inspirational cooking class. Definitely worth coming.
